On Thursday, mid-way through the day, I got a wonderful surprise. An article that I had written for the Superior Fall Trail Race blog had been picked up by Ultrarunning Magazine. I’m assuming my friend, the race director, sent it on up to them, and I’m incredibly honored. It was an article that I had written, summarizing the weekend of races last Fall on the North Shore.

I’ve only been published in online zines once or twice before as I can recall, so this was exciting for me. I kinda wish I had more time to write for publications like this more often. Maybe next year I’ll scale back the blogging and try and get a few more bigger pieces out there with my name on them. For now I’m just pleased that I got to share my thoughts about this race with the broader world.
