I’m an avid user of the Untappd app which is used for checking in beers. I’ve been using it for years, and recently I realized that I’m getting close to 1000 distinct beers. My friend and I have a plan for what will be my 1000’th beer, but in the meantime I have a couple dozen random brews to get through.

The other day I hit Total Wine and picked up some “make your own 6-packs”, and today I started in with the beer pictured at top. It was a decent brown ale, but the can art was one of a kind. I’m not sure how I feel about drinking “The Brown Note”, but if nothing else I have to give them credit for creative marketing. The artwork on the can certainly made me pick this beer over others.
