Gooseberry Falls in May

On our way back from Superior 50K we stopped at Gooseberry Falls and I took some shots of the rushing water. The weather was amazing and it was great to spend some more time outside on this beautiful weekend.

Photographing the Sugar Badger 50/50 tomorrow and so I got out for a quick run tonight. The spring wildflowers on this trail are insane every year. Incredibly beautiful place for a warm evening run. #trailrunning #pathprojectskrew #pathprojects #altrarunning

Rice Creek in Spring. Can’t complain.

Day trip to Cuyuna! Started at Sagamore and then got some breakfast at The Hudson. Finished out with Galloping Goose and then a brewery stop. Body is super tired from a 20 mile run yesterday but managed to get it done. Realized that probably should have done those in reverse as I was already a bit worn out when we got to the harder trail, but overall a great experience as always. #canyonbikes #cuyunalakesmtb

It's easy to let how you feel in the moment define how you feel about your abilities. Lately I've felt like I'm behind where I need to be in terms of my fitness. But perception isn't always reality.

Another wildfire smoke filled run. This time with the Thirsty Thursday crew. Kept it slow and easy throughout because of the bad air quality, but did have a fun sprint segment where I maintained some speed that gave me flashbacks to a younger self.
