After many years of blogging regularly (some years every single day) I ended up stepping back for the past month to take a breath. I last posted in March about turning 48 and then ended up going silent for a while, and I decided that’s OK. It’s not for lack of ideas for content, I’ve got a bunch of things that I’m lining up to write about, but for lack of motivation. I decided to spend more time on other leisure activities like catching up on some video games and trying to keep up with Critical Role (which I’m still failing at).

I did want to drop a quick note here though to ensure everyone that I’m still around and still planning to do more writing here, but it might not be for a few more weeks. In the meantime I’ve added a photo as the feature of this post that I took recently at a trail race. I got a chance to do some night time shooting, and despite the moon, I was happy with how many stars I captured.
