On Friday I pack and leave for Zumbro to run my 50 mile trail race. I thought I’d share a quick picture of the views I will be seeing repeatedly as I run the loops around the course. I’ve put this shot into my blog race report last year, but I really love this spot on the course. As you climb the first hill you get a great view of the valley, and your final look at the race village until you finish the loop. This year I’ll get to see it a couple times in the dark as well as in daylight.
