Cold Minnesota

This weekend saw the coldest air temps of the season for Minnesota, with the air temp never getting above zero until after 3pm. I wanted to take a few shots the reflect the cold. However, I was running out of light Sunday afternoon, so I had to settle for some frigid bare branches in the setting sunlight. Despite being incredibly arctic, when the sun is full in the sky, these cold winter days are actually quite beautiful. Maybe if we get another few days like this I’ll find something more creative to reflect the cold.

I really enjoy these, you got the light at the right time for these branches! How much post-processing did you need to do to overcome the backlighting?
