Blisters

So my plan was to get right back to running tomorrow morning and not let anything slip after the marathon. Well, my legs are feeling really good, but I ended up with a blister on my left pinky toe. I also made the mistake of draining and trimming it too soon, so it’s incredibly raw. Don’t think there will be any running tomorrow. Maybe I’ll just stick to a bike.

If it hadn’t been for the blister I’d be back in action, and frankly I’m impressed with how good my legs feel. I think a lot of the strength that I built up on the trails helped with my recovery. Next race is this upcoming Sunday, a nice 10 mile race to support a good cause.
