After the marathon last year, I started to relax a bit more with my eating and running. Ever since 2010 I’ve been in the mid 160’s for my weight. However, I’ve since packed on a good ten pounds and it’s time to get back on track. So today I pulled out the calorie counter, and will track that for a few weeks to get back on track. It means getting back to eating smaller portions again, and … gasp … less beer.
The upside is that I’ve lost weight before, and I’ll lose this again, and it probably won’t take too long. Especially considering that my running program is stepping up it’s mileage every week, Just another reminder that it’s always a journey and not a simple destination.
