While we were in Washington we got to visit the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park. This temperate rain forest was visually amazing, with moss hanging off of trees like hair. The trees were also huge, with gigantic trunks reaching hundreds of feet into the air. We also managed to spot a little bit of wildlife including a banana slug and some elk.
