I’ve been blogging on and off for many years. First, at my old blog called Boolah, and then here on Second Runnings. Sometimes I would go months between blog posts, until last year when I started this daily blogging discipline. The adventure in doing things that are new and exciting, is that sometimes other people do them as well, and one of you gets inspired by the other. This happened in a big way for me with running, with a bunch of us getting motivated to get off the couch.
In the blogging realm, my buddy Wes has joined me in this journey of daily blogging since January 2015. I don’t even recall which of us had the idea first, but we’ve managed to keep up a really good pace, only being late a day here or there. Today, Wes celebrates his 1000th post on his blog Painfully Hopeful. I’m giving him a shout out for my post today to say Great Job! He’s been a friend for a long time, and it has been really cool to share this discipline with him over the past year and a half (almost). Keep it up Wes!
He’s also a big geek like me, so some of my readers might like what he has to say sometimes too!
You had the idea first, you got it from watching something Wil Wheaton said in a YouTube video.
